Radio XLIL, side A, track 1: “Two To Make It Right” by Seduction

Seduction - Two To Make It RightOh, Seduction, I’m coming off a weekend of being full of allergies and/or general malaise, which I GUESS is the best time to feel such feelings since it’s not affecting my paycheck if I’m just laying on the couch and moaning all day.  But I’m still feeling pretty grumpy and stuffy and no fun to be around, which is too bad, because we’re kicking off the week not just with a great song by you but a whole brand new tape.  The last tape before we get to the 50th tape I taped off the radio, a tape that would usher in a whole new world of radio taping.

I don’t want to oversell it, Seduction, but I was on the cusp of hitting the mother lode of radio music.  I didn’t know it at the time.  I just knew that songs like this existed, which was good enough for me.  I would have been more than happy to turn this mother out with one, two, or all three of you.  Not that I would have known what to do with one, two, or all three of you, but it would have been fun to try.  But right now, the thought of being with one, two, or all three of you just makes me exhausted, Seduction, which is sad, but true, so I need to go lay down.  Alone.  Sorry, Seduction, but when it comes to taking a nap, it takes one.

“Two To Make It Right”

It takes two, it takes two
Me and you

It takes two, it takes two
Me and you

It takes two ta make a thing go right
It takes two ta make it out of sight
It takes two ta make a thing go right
It takes two ta make it out of sight
Yeah hey hey

<awesome Seduction jam>

From the start
It’s plain ta see

Ya suffering from a serious broken heeeeart

Ya know that it’s a shame

But I’m here
To ease yo pain

There’s no need f’you to feel so all alone
And you and I could seriously
Be
A sure enough happening thiiing
Doncha know that
It takes two ta make a thing go right
It takes two ta make it out of sight
It takes two ta make a thing go right
It takes two ta make it out of sight
Yeah hey hey

<awesome Seduction jam>

I can see
It in ya eyes

You feel the same way I feel about you
Some call it chemistry

I call it you should be with me ’cause I know togetha we can really turn this
Mother out

In my mind there is no doubt
That one and one
Equals me and yoooooou
Doncha know that
It takes two ta make a thing go right
It takes two ta make it out of sight
It takes two ta make a thing go right
It takes two ta make it out of sight
Yeah hey hey

<awesome Seduction jam>

I don’t believe
In fairy tales

I believe
Some things were meant to beeee
Why should we be alone

When we could have each others’ arms to hold ’cause I know togetha we can really turn this
Motha out

In my mind there is no doubt
That one and one equals me and yoooooou

Doncha know that
It takes two ta make a thing go right
It takes two ta make it out of sight
It takes two ta make a thing go right
It takes two ta make it out of sight
(It takes twoooooooooooooooo)
It takes two, it takes two
Me and you

It takes two, it takes two
Me and you
(Yeah yeah yeah)
It takes two, it takes two (just you)
(And me)
Me and you (togetha we will be)
(Foreva and eva)
It takes two, it takes two
Me and you (heeeeeeeeeeyyyy!)

It takes two, it takes two (ah ah ah ah ah ah woah)
Me and you

It takes two, it takes two (wooooooooah)
Me and you

It takes two, it takes two (ho!)
Me and you (just you and me)
(Just me and you)
It takes two, it takes two
Me and you
(M’baby baby baby baby baby yeah)

  1. […] Seduction, sure I recorded this one before, but I think you can understand why I’d record it again.  Because it’s a great song, […]
