Oh, The Cure, I hadn’t recorded many of your songs as a kid, but what I did record I sure liked. I was always a little scared of you, but I still really liked you. Before I recorded this one off of BOB, I don’t think I’d ever heard it before. It’s downright upbeat for y’all. I love that simple tinkling piano in the background. It’s almost child-like. But then the vocals kick down that door, and we’re back to the wtf that is your brilliance, The Cure. I hope this isn’t the last we hear from you on here. I can’t stay in your mind for extended periods of time, but I really enjoy the time I do spend. Not that “enjoy” is probably a word you understand, The Cure.
