Oh, The Charlie Daniels Band, I think this is the first time we’ve had a country song on here. About damn time, too. I mean, it’s my own fault, The Charlie Daniels Band, I wasn’t recording music off the country stations as a kid and in fact I probably looked down my nose at them a bit. Listening to KISD FM was me being rebellious, listening to Poison and Motley Crue when the tri-county area was more into George Strait and George Jones. But more’s the pity that I didn’t pay attention to the country stations, because I grew up when CMT was just becoming a thing, before it was putting out fare like “Redneck Weddings”. So I was tapping my toes to awesome tunes by Pam Tillis and Travis Tritt and Ricky Van Shelton and Joe Diffie’s music videos when I wasn’t up in my room trying to record the devil’s music. Speaking of, what does it say that I totally think that the devil won that contest?
