Oh, EMF, I believe it. I don’t have any specific memories of this song other than that I’ve always known it. “Always” might be an overstatement since I was 15 when it came out. Which in itself is unbelievable. And while this song was popular, it wasn’t as popular for us kids as The Dice-man, who this song so successfully samples. We spent many an hour repeating Mr. Clay’s naught nursery rhymes. Hickory, dickory, dock. And so on and so forth. I haven’t seen his act since I was 15, and I’m kinda curious how it stands up, but I think I have an idea. Also, apparently this song has someone saying “What the fuck” and it was never edited out? How the hell did I miss that? Because that’s awesome. And it would have been even more awesome when I was 15.
